            Florence Yoga Community

            Picture
Through shared yoga practice, shared breathing, and shared experience, a sense of connection with like-minded folks helps foster a feeling of community in our space.  At Florence Yoga, we strive from your very first class to make you feel comfortable in our space.  We say, “Hello!” We learn your name, and we try to make sure everyone knows the name of the person on the mat next to them.

Part of our mission is to foster and grow the sense of giving back and volunteerism amongst our teachers and our student community. We regularly sponsor studio community efforts towards helping those in need in the greater Northampton area, through donation and community classes. We have held donation and canned good drives for the Northampton Survival Center since we first opened our studio in 2009, and our annual Cleanse for a Cause we've held over the past two Springs has raised thousands of dollars for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.

We believe even the smallest personal effort at giving back is highly valuable, and can profoundly and beneficially impact our selves, our community and our world.
